A true story

Several years back my Dainty Darling Dove, aka wife, took on the responsibility of adopting out a rather elderly guinea pig by the name of Daisy. After a search of maybe two or three weeks, she finally found a nice couple with a three year old daughter who quickly fell in love with her new pet.

Apparantly Daisy was no ordinary guinea pig as she came with her own harness and leash, my Dove looked very much like a dope taking her for a walk, and would also "sing" when certain tunes were played on the radio.

Daisy, being elderly, passed away quietly one night after less than a year with her new family. Their daughter didn't have much of a concept of death so her parents chose to break the news this way.

Parents - Sweetheart, last night Jesus came and took Daisy to heaven with him.

Daughter - Tell Jesus I want her back!
