When was the Sprint dividend issued? If it was actually issued on April 17th and you owned Sprint stock April 17th, then that was correct. However, if you sold Sprint stock on April 20th and the dividend was issued after April 20th (issued <> appearing in your account) then the brokerage made a mistake.
