Coming up: Second-quarter U.S. productivity
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) – The U.S. government will release its report on second-quarter productivity at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch estimate productivity rose 1.3%, compared a 0.9% decline in the first quarter. Unit-labor costs, meanwhile, likely rose 0.7%, according to the MarketWatch survey. Those costs climbed 1.3% in the first quarter.
