In theory your plan is excellent but in reality it very rarely works the way you've laid it out - for one nobody has perfect timing and second (unless you're trading out of a tax free account) you're going to take about a 40% hit on any short term gains - so those 100% gains quickly become much less. 

Finally, and most importantly, I thought you were bought into the business plan of TECO - day trading the stock would seem to me a lack of confidence in the long term biz plan - no?  But at least now I understand the pump and dump you adhere to - hopefully it helps those on this board frame your often skewed input.
