   I thought I read about a tourist train that went from SD to Ensenada, but evidently it doesnt go that far..

   I just found this on wikipedia on an Ensenada search.. Maybe they think they are going to have some rail shipping business in the future..

"The city is not part of any rail transport grid with which it could use to transport cargo and other materials, although there are plans to build a rail line to the United States border in the short to mid-term future that would link it to San Diego–Tijuana ."
