Suspense and Supernatural Terror Drive Ingloda: The Possession Within, Coming in November from Hannover House
Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE) will build on its sales growth and releasing activities with sci-fi and horror home video films with the November 12th release of "Ingloda: The Possession Within." The suspense-thriller, from director Brian Targett and producer Everett Burgan, Jr., deals with the psychological decline of a woman struggling to come to terms with her past in a descent that suggests possible demonic possession. Principal cast members include Lauren Davish, Rachel Worrall, Amber Figueroa and Norm Schultz.
"Ingloda: The Possession Within" will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray and Video-On-Demand beginning November 12, 2013. DVD's will be priced at $14.95 suggested retail; Blu-Ray discs will be priced at $19.95 suggested retail. Video-On-Demand outlets will include a premium positioning placement within VODwiz.com, the independent film portal venture established by Hannover House through a partnership with NanoTech Entertainment. The release date in mid-November was selected to avoid a congested horror video market in October, as well as to provide counter-programming to holiday releases and summer blockbusters on video.
"We have had very good success with sci-fi and horror releases in November, December and January," said Eric Parkinson, C.E.O. of Hannover House. "There's always a glut of titles in October falling under Halloween campaigns, but often nothing new for the next few months. To build on our successes in this market, we have scheduled new horror-appeal releases for each of the next six months."
Key retailers supporting Hannover House sci-fi and horror videos include Walmart, Redbox and Netflix.
Hannover House has expanded its library of film and intellectual properties to more than 200 titles, covering a wide range of film genres, budgets and stars. Nearly all of the Hannover House films will be available through VODwiz.com and the associated Hannover House IPTV Channel (hosted by NanoTech). Both VODwiz and the IPTV Channel will also offer titles from a dozen additional suppliers, collectively representing over 2,000 titles that will be available for instant, on-line streaming to homes and mobile devices. Hannover is also experiencing growth in its traditional packaged-goods business (DVDs, Blu-Rays and Books), as key retailers have opened up new placement opportunities.
INGLODA: THE POSSESSION WITHIN - Synopsis: Kelly is an everyday young woman just trying to get by in life and with her two best friends, Kacy and Nikki. Kelly carries scars from her past, as her father died at a very young age and her mother left her to grow up alone. Kelly, now at age 24, is coming to terms with her past. After finding out her father didn't die the way she thought, she begins to tip over the edge. She experiences out of body hallucinations and begins to spiral down to a deep dark depression. Kacy and Nikki try their hardest to help her while Kelly begins to realize that the most frightening things in life are buried deep inside us. Will Kelly pull herself out or will she succumb to the possession within.
