
Casa Systems, Inc. announced that it will showcase its newly launched C100G Integrated Converged Cable Access Platform (I-CCAP) in booth #3617 at The Cable Show 2013, taking place June 10-12, 2013. Designed to ease cable operators' migration to the next generation of IP services, the highly available, fully redundant C100G I-CCAP platform enables MSOs to deploy MPEG video, IPTV, and DOCSIS over a single port. The C100G also delivers high CCAP density while consuming the lowest average power per channel, minimizing both expenses and space requirements in the cable head end. The platform consists of a downstream module (DS8X96); switching module (SMM8X10G); and upstream module (US16X4), and currently supports over 8,000 downstream channels.
