There is still no stopping this in the long run. You can only manipulate so long with a stock and company like this.

And as far as the Mastiffs. I have had Mastiffs for 25yrs, love the breed. The one in my avatar was a nephew to the Dog in Sandlot (Hercules)  not sure if you ever saw the movie but My wife, kids and I love that movie.
