TP... thanks for these thoughts. Seel makes good points about strategy, and when I combine those with yours, the picture becomes clearer and even more exciting (an emotion my self-discipline insists I routinely avoid with stocks). Why indeed would Ehrlich and Menon raise the bar so high without a clear understanding of the risks by so doing? They would not. Therefore, your conclusions appear to be sound:

"They're making expectations clear, and aligning themselves with some big names because they anticipate being at that level soon. It's bold,, confident, and setting a high bar for a reason, because I believe that what they know about the trial when they put together the PR gave them enough confidence to speak this way to shareholders publicly."

If one adds to this line of thinking the sudden appearance of new bashers, we may indeed be ready for a jump in SP next week.
