UK digital video surveillance company Visisys is planning to strengthen its presence in Latin America, initially in the restaurant vertical, and plans to kick off physical operations in Miami to provide services for the region, the company said in a statement.

The company integrates biometrics, computer-synchronization and machine vision techniques such as face capture and recognition, and point-of-sale device coordination, into a unified solution.

For the restaurant vertical, Visisys has designed a solution which can provide data about operations including security, loss prevention, shrinkage, service quality and food preparation procedures.

Other target verticals include hotels, retail, property management and industry.
