That's my point, why would they not maintain exclusive rights? At least for ten years. The sales associated with siRNA alone would make the $$$ made with iPhone sales seem like that chump change. Think about it... if the human trials are successful and this siRNA is what they believe it to be, NO ONE can touch the intrinsic science of it for probably ten years. Maybe twelve. Do we have any idea how much money that means to BMSN? We do not!
