I don't mind sharing what I am dealing with because I want people to understand that I am a "real"person.People on the board all can come across as "got their s#it together" when in reality most all have their own issues and wrestling with something or other.
If I took the "stress test" I would probably break the "needle" 
In the process of being open,some have opened up to me as well.One was devastated by another investment and I pointed them here where they are now doing well.Another is questioning their faith and looking for answers,another is going through family issues to mention a few.I share my "shoulder" and lend an ear for support and we see past the "forest"to where our goals in life really are.
I certainly don't look for a "pity party" when I share things.
If anything I have shared has had an impact on you or those close to you I am truly humbled and glad that there is "good that comes out of bad".Look for the good.We will always have "bad".Give my best wishes to your daughter and husband.
