The Port of Ensenada is located on the Northwest of the Pacific, 110 Km. South from the U.S.A. Border, at 31º 51' Latitude North and 116º 38' Longitude West. It connects to the North and South with Federal Highway No. 1 and to the East with Federal Highway No. 3.
Within an area of more than 1500 Km., the main highways connect the port with the cities of Tijuana, Tecate, Mexicali and Hermosillo, and with the border cities of San Diego and Los Angeles in California; and Tucson, Yuma and Phoenix en Arizona. For moving cargo by land having as origin or destination the port of Ensenada the main highways are the toll road Tijuana-Ensenada, highway Tijuana-Ensenada and Tecate-Ensenada. The main cargo uses the toll road Tijuana-Ensenada for transportation. The three highways are the basic links to connect the Port with the man highways in the United States of America.
