The rich text box on the new post page seems to not enjoy the pasting of content that already has HTML tags included. Even though you may not actually see the HTML tags in some of the formatted text in other posts or on other web pages, they could still be included in whatever you are copying to the clipboard. When you paste all of that, the control for the new post input text box can get confused because it inserts its own HTML based on whatever the formatting the text is given.

Just copy whatever you want, but then first paste it into textpad or some other normal text file and then copy that plain text, then paste that plain text into the text box input for this website. It should work if you do that intermediary step, however, you will thereafter have to add back in whatever formatting you desire.
