Well - I am pretty pleased about todays update! In 4th cohort with total of 6-9 predicted? That is a confident prediction - bodes well and tells us things are going well so far. Need to keep eye on dropout rate if possible. So far - that seems normal also. Somewhat surprised, as many are, that Leo didn't get those qpcr results in time for asco. Felt that was a goal he held. Also - give phrasing of last pr, wondered if it was goal already reached. But no complaints. Trial going and going well. Phase ones can seem endless. This one is no exception. Lots of terminal people out there. Lots of trials to choose from and an array of approved treatments. Goals of phI trials, built around safety and PK and PD data, create avoidance also. And it is so hard to get the word out. I have friends working in DF and in MGH and BI, MD's and NP's. One is even an oncological radiologist. They have never heard of this drug or trial. Clinicians tune into later phase trials that have better known chance of helping their sick and dying patients. So recruiting can be slow, even in such a sought-after treatment center.
