Just the tip of the iceberg

Well it's a great book and story especially considering the adventure we have taken thus far for Treaty. There was a vignette on Clint Murchison, where he pretty much went from living in the penthouse and the high life to becoming nearly a vagabond living in ranch houses with his oil hands and setting up an office in a pharmacy phone booth. He was broke for at least several years because of the collapse in oil prices, but he eventually hit it really big.

I met with Anton the land owner for a good half hour or so at his office. The guy is a salt of the earth kind of guy who knows everyone of importance in the area and has a good bit of business sense. He has studied the oil production in the area very closely, the well logs, maps, and personal knowledge that he has accumulated on the area, and Mitchell 3 and 4 could just be the tip of the iceberg for this area.
