The Mac Guru Shark Tank 5/24/2013 About Mac Guru

Company Website: http://www.themacguru.net/

Services: http://www.themacguru.net/services.html

Social Responsibility
We've all been through tough times. That's why we started our Mac Donation Program. If you or someone you know has a computer that is in working condition and is no longer needed, we will wipe the data and refurbish it at no charge and give it to someone in need who lives in our community. This program is currently only available at our Provincetown location. Want to donate a computer? E-mail us via our Contact Page

Upping Our Game
We love innovation and are always trying to up our game. In 2012, we introduced our brand new remote service: Instant Guru (made possibly by Team Viewer). This technology allows us to remotely assist any of our customers with literally a single click. Why bring your computer to us when we can assist you in literally seconds.

The Mac Guru Philosophy
We are here to support both customer and computer. We believe in taking customer service to a level that other businesses dream of achieving. Technology is such an integral part of all of our lives that everyone need someone they can turn to who will offer reliable support and 100% honest advice. We treat every customer with the respect and patience that they deserve. Reputation is everything in this business and we strive to make every single customer ecstatic about our business

Picture
After managing an Apple Computers dealer for two years, David decided to start a business that focused on supporting both customer and computer. He specializes in teaching technology to the "technically challenged" and works with businesses, magazines, authors, real estate companies, and celebrities. In 2012 David was honored as one of the top 40 CEO's under the age of 40 in Massachusetts by Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine. Later that same year Cox beat out 30,000 business to appear on the hit ABC show "Shark Tank" where he pitched his virtual classroom service, PC Classes Online to "sharks" Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Barbara Corcoran,  Kevin O'Leary, and Robert Herjivik. Sadly, The Sharks didn't see any value in teaching technology to seniors... leaving him with only 100% ownership of a company that had just been exposed to 8.5 million people on national television (yes, that was sarcasm). Cox is the author of the popular tech column "The Guru Corner" which can be read in several magazines nationwide.
