Silvercorp Metals Inc. ( TSX: T.SVM , Stock Forum ) on Wednesday reported its financial and operating results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2013.

Net income in the fourth quarter was $6.4 million or 4 cents a share, the company said in a press release.

In fiscal 2013, Silvercorp said it produced 4.9 million ounces of silver and 12,457 ounces of gold.

On Wednesday, Silvercorp shares rose 3.3% to $2.80, leaving the company with a market cap of $478.2 million, based on 170.8 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range is $6.94 and $2.56.
