GM, if I remember correctly, there are over 50 reservoirs in Brazil alone.  I will do some checking, but I believe Brazil has the largest number of reservoirs in the World.  One thing we should keep in mind is that South America has been on a dam building tear for years now, and this part of the world shows no sign of stopping their dam building any time soon.
