Excellent question GM.  Why would North Cal even care what Hollund's share structure is, unless they intended to become major shareholders, or merge, or buy out, or do something giving them major control over Hollund.  Personally, I cannot think of any other explanation.

The only reason I can think of that a business relationship may not be the direction North Cal intends to move, is the fact that HIMR has so much more potential than logging.  However, if the logging business is spun off as a subsidiary, then North Cal could take control of that aspect of the business, and let HIMR pursue other endeavors.
