That just gets you a lighter sentence...and that's assuming you can prove such.  Wrongdoing is wrongdoing no matter how you try to defend it.  Example... if you worked for me and I told you to rob a bank... A) would you do it, and if you did it and got caught, would they just let you go because you were only following orders?    Nope... unless there are unusual special circumstances... you goin to do a little time !
