Well, technically...

If you drop something from where it is to ground zero, would you agree that it always has to pass through a half-way point?  And that that half-way point is otherwise known as 50%?  And then, you move your starting point down a little further and initiate the drop, going from starting to ending point, you still have to pass the halfway mark, at 50%.  And you can keep doing this ad infinitum.  So, if you can technically lower and drop every trading day, and you always have to pass the halfway point before hitting bottom...do you EVER really hit bottom?  We could technically lose 50% every day forever!

Just a little exercise in existential trading!
