Looking at the Port of Ensenada web site, it is clear that the Ilia is loading 70k tons of iron ore (CARGA DE MINERAL DE HIERRO 70.000 TONELDAS).
The listing does not list CW or PanAmerican as the "Client" and lists a local shipper as the shipping agent. I have been concerned that this was a scrap metal shipment but it is clear that it is iron ore. We are the only mine shipping iron ore out of Ensenada.
It appears that they will be loading the 70.000 tons over the next week (remember that the port has commitments to the grain shippers Monday thru Thursday so the iron ore can only be loaded during the "off" times.
I think it is going to cost PanAmerican some of the shipment for port storage costs but it is definitely GOOD to see them move it out.
