This was CWRN's last ship- with DWT of 45569 and yet it carried 43829 tons-thats the small difference of a few thousand tons for fuel ballast etc I've been talking about-as I've seen w other ships also----yet I see its GT is only 26k tons- so from this evidence the Wikipedia suggestion that the GT is manipulated for fee purposes seems to be true-
humans always find a way to make things confusing-the GT by every convention,as I posted,is suppose to be the cargo carrying capacity and yet because ship owners are WILDLY cheating on fees (which are based on GT,the GT figure thus becomes useless- violating every convention so strenuously achieved to solve this kind of confusion-you humans are a strange species- havent figured you out yet)
So based on this evidence, if the Ilia follows the example of the Qin Hai it could load up to 75000 tons or so- the 45000 tons already at port (6-25-12 PR) plus any additional trucked since then- though its possible 2 of the holds are carrying other product-which would leave ca 45000 tons for CWRN ore
