I understand that the presentation was not specifically about P3.  But it was about the state of the technology and business.  So it is not inconceivable that he would have let slip an updated status of that processor when he got to that part of his presentation.

Something like: "We have completed assembly of the processor with the half-sized kiln and have begun testing.  The system is performing as expected."
