Thanks alj14.  It is good to see that Cyprus is not giving high priority to this gold selling idea.  If Eurpean countries already print money like paper (just like our own Fed is doing) and then sells off its gold, then what value is their in any country's currency?  What does "backed by the full faith of the government" really mean?  I personally hope European leaders are smarter than this, but I fear the U.S. is run by fools who will gladly follow.
