I have trees in my neighbor that lived through the Civil War. Trees provided our ancestors with shelter, heat, food, shade, and beauty. I burn wood in my fireplace every night during the winter. As a kid, I spent everyday in the woods. And now those supposedly drowned trees are going to continue making beauty for millions of people. What a magnificent Lord we have. We should thank Him everyday.
