I can attest to that. I have a One Ton 4WD and here when it rains, unless the soil is hard packed from continued usage prior to the rain, the truck sinks. So much so it took a semi tractor to pull me out one time. Adobe Clay Soil sucks. As for the other conditions, I can not speak.
