The FBI is warning people that their computers may not be able to access the Internet as of Monday.

Multiple news sources are reporting that tens of thousands of people in the US—and many more around the world—will not be able to access the Internet as of this coming Monday morning due to malware that was installed on hundreds of thousands of computers many months ago.  The date of this upcoming service interruption is known because the FBI had taken temporary remedial action regarding this malware and they will revoke that action on Monday.  This FindLaw article contains information about the situation, the malware, and what you can do to determine if your personal computer is affected.
