I have followed this effort closely and Ganesha is 100% correct. They are asking the public at large to submit therapeutics. The first effort was criticized because they did NOT solicit opinions from the public. If you watch their webinars, they talk about this.

I know for a fact previous patients who were part of Gaylis' trial submitted leronlimab as well. Just go through the FAQ found here and you can see the crazy number of ideas submitted (i.e. perfume, mineral water, Propranolol). They have working groups that dig into these to find the most promising candidates.
