Re: USS JOHNSTON #156922
If I had terminal cancer, I would try anything that would not make my potential remaining days worse. I have watched people on chemo, who if the cancer didn't do them in, sure made their last days on earth worse. No iota of quality of life.
My understanding is that LL has zero ASE so that would be first on my list. If it doesn't work, at least I went down swinging vs watching the fastballs just come grooved down the middle and sitting there with the bat on my shoulder.
Let's all keep trying to get our friends and families in need to give LL a try. I think we all believe in it enough to keep working at it.
One question for the MDs on this board and it might help us all understand the reluctance better from the medical community.
Why, if there are no other treatments left available, why would a Dr not look into LL? I get that it isn't approved but all of the approved drugs haven't worked. It sounds to me like time to throw the hail mary...in many ways.
Thanks for all of the kind words from everyone.
