I hear you USS. There are so many battles in being a patient advocate. You have to first commence patient who might not be well-versed in what you’re talking about that this is a revolutionary consideration. Then you have to commence medical “experts“ that their line of training might need to be re-thought. That’s not easy. Then you’re dealing with insurance companies review boards for hospital systems, etc. and you also have family members to contend with and the proverbial uphill battle lies right in front of you on multiple slopes.
