Plus, if the company did not believe that this conference will lead to a positive step forward, why would they bother to PR the news?
I'm not sure how you interpreted presenting at an investors conference means we're not in discussions with any pharmaceuticals. Until the ink on the agreement has dried, any reputable company will continue to move forward with business as usual. Otherwise, we have have no plan B nor leverage if talks break down.
