I feel like everyone is just waiting on the "trigger" to be pulled.
Like the Heinz Ketchup to begin flowing out of its glass bottle.
Like popcorn just before the first kernal pops.
Like dominoes lined up waiting on the first push.
Like holding the final piece of a puzzle to put in place.
Like an orchestra anticipating the conductors baton to wave.

Waiting on news has turned into its own Olympic sport: Synchronized refreshing news, competitive speculation and endurance level patience training.

We longs have developed a sixth sense for checking our phones at the exact moment nothing happens. Some of us are so ready for an announcement that even the microwave ding makes us think, "What is it?!"

At this rate the real miracle drug might be whatever keeps shareholders' hopes alive through the world's longest cliffhanger!
