I also doubt their ability to finance at these low pps.
Chicken and egg. Outside financing usually comes at a price - debtor ... lender as bible says
but its also not fair to longstanding shareholders who paid up to 7 dollars pps and up. With 100's of millions of shares sold at such low prices.
I think would need some kind of financing but you have to prove a field to some extent before you could get outside financing imo. Let alone make bigger plans or investment.
and the focus on gas instead of oil may change delivery methods etc prior to a pipeline. I dont even remember where closest pipelines are except to Haifa.
I dont remember whether they have been engaged in efforts to determine a field before-just too little time- but sure such has been discussed on other boards
