anybody seen this? - mRNA vaccine stimulating expression of PD-L1 making tumors more receptive to treatment.

Here we show that early responses by type-I interferons mediate the success of immune checkpoint inhibitors as well as epitope spreading in poorly immunogenic tumours and that these interferon responses can be enhanced via systemic administration of lipid particles loaded with RNA coding for tumour-unspecific antigens .

Interesting, by using a non-specific antigen it would increase the amount of T-cells. Having a larger number of T-cells would be useful. But B-cells would be developing antibodies for that non-existent invader. The B-cells would then have to develop antibodies to tumor cells to trigger the destruction by T-cells. I do have to wonder if unspecific antigens might trigger an autoimmune response in some cases.

Leronlimab is similar in upregulating T-cells but how leronlimab has that treatment beat is we also downregulate cytokines that aid in tumor growth and metastasis.
