Looking at GWTI in just black and white terms of finances, sales, profit, etc. it looks like a mom-and-pop shop trying to develop technology that would rival the big boys of energy and, as such, most would say the odds of success are minimal. I would like to provide a little color to the story as to why I feel we are on the footsteps of being involved in something great in terms of technology, benefit to mankind, and ultimately tremendous financial success. I live in the DFW area, have been to the last few stockholders meetings, have been introduced to most of the main players (both from the past and now), understand decently (at least for a layman) the technology, and have introduced some contacts that I thought would be interested in GWTI and vice versa. FYI, I am well past retirement age as well.
Most new companies are out for one goal; make a lot of money for the founders, then they sell out for the highest price possible and new management comes in and basically screws the stockholders/early investors. I believe that may have been the case with the initial management (certainly have no proof to back it up) but now the company is a different cat.
There are exceedingly few employees of GWTI, but there are surprisingly a cadre of 'consultants' that are working at no cost to the company but who I feel will be well compensated only if the company succeeds. These people are of retirement age that have 'a particular set of skill' that are quite impressive in management, finances, technology/engineering, and sales. The other cadre of valuable assets are the graduate students/ professors at UTA that work in the lab, develop the catalysts, expand the possible uses for our Reformers, etc.
One great example in the technology/engineering area is a 'consultant' that was a heavyweight at one of the largest non-profit research and development companies in the US who developed devices for energy companies. He commented to me that he believes our technology will be one of the greatest developments of the 21st century. Our cadre of UTA grad students/professors have significantly expanded the scope of our potential markets w/ the H-Reformer and Methanol-Reformer. They are currently working on other spin-off uses of our Reformers for other large-scale markets. Right now the largest target markets are not those the company was addressing when it was formed. It is also reassuring that all patents are owned by University of Texas with GWTI having sole rights to them; means other energy corporations won't screw with us as they would be screwing with U of T and they are the world's largest research organization for energy.
I have signed a NDA and though I was given no specific names, details, etc. I know that the company is targeted on doing the world a lot of good. The scope of the uses of our technology will be very wide and this is not even counting the new uses being worked on today.
I believe we all will be proud of being involved with GWTI.
Note that in 2018 GWTI built a full-sized model of the G-Reformer that is functional or can be updated to utilize the advancements made on it since 2018 for the CDU (Commercial Demo Unit) currently being built. Since we have the front end already built and the back-end Fischer-Troupe components are all basically standard industrial parts, I tend to believe we will see it come to operation by the end of the summer. I know many eyes have looked at our technology, many eyes were impressed with our technology, but nobody wanted to help build the CDU (until just this Spring) to prove the technology. Once the unit is built, I foresee a marked advancement of the company and things to snowball in a very positive way.
Nothing is currently in-place, but I wake every morning and look to see if there is a press release because when the CDU comes on-line we have but a few weeks for it to show that it is the real-McCoy and IMO orders may start to come our way. I actually thought we would have the CDU done by 4 July, but now I have backed off to Labor Day in case a hiccup or two are encountered.
Whatever the case, there is lots of activity at GWTI, there is true belief in the technology and benefits to accrue, and though it may not look like it yet, GWTI will be a perfect example of 'The Mouse that Roared' and this day is right around the corner.
