Thank you for mentioning this! I never knew. What a great example of the poison we get in some of the preservatives used in pharmaceutical products. The use of Thimerosal was banned, in Europe, in the early 2000's.
"Studies indicate that thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative, can cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB). Once across, the ethylmercury in thimerosal can convert to inorganic mercury, which can then bind to brain tissues."
