You can still keep the TDa turd, just transfer is what I'm saying. That way you are still able to use the tools. This way, you remove your securities and any trading from them (they can't make money w/o commissions). I have not had money in Scottrade for over a year now and the account is still active. I use Fidelity mostly now.
