Actually ,plastics are on the edge of being supplemented if not replaced by algae based technology. Certain cities are starting to ban plastic bags already. There is no doubt in my mind that we will advance to having many plastic products coming from renewable sources.
As for petroleum ,we already have substitutes ,Tyson in fact is connected to a refinery making diesel from chicken fat. Packs the same or better punch and meets the specs to be used in jet engines.
This company we are invested in will be making its own contribution toward conservation. That's one of the attractions for me.
