The significance of Yorick, in my humble and professional experience, is that this scene at the Grave of Ophelia, was the moment that Hamlet FINALLY believed his Fathers ghost, and Finally stopped hesitating to act. In a Tragic Flaw sorta ways, it was too little too late, and he was next-ish to be grave dug.
