15 years ago. All radiology exams cost base to include labor was $20 end to end. CT of the ABD charge was $900, plus contrast and so on. Then you add to that $140 for the Radiologist interpretation.
Then reebursment was set at 80%.
So roughly healthcare at cost is around 2 trillion per year. The haul is around 6 trillion.
Where is 4 trillion going?
