I posted earlier that I expect HIMR to partner with other companies in the not too distant future.
13 June 2002 Press Release from Aquatic Cellulose
"In April 2001, Aquatic Cellulose entered into an exclusive supply agreement with Milwaukee-based Timber Holdings Ltd. (THL) for its total production of underwater harvested Ipe hardwood.
Timber Holdings Ltd. exclusively offers Iron Woods. WHAT IS IRON WOODS®?
Iron Woods® is the original, leading brand of naturally durable wood products. Favored by design professionals and consumers alike, the Iron Woods® brand has become synonymous with commitment to superior quality and environmental accountability. Our product's strength, hardness and durability have been proven again and again in demanding commercial applications like the famous Atlantic City and Coney Island Boardwalks and in backyards across America. Our brand represents a willingness to put our reputation on the line. More than just a piece of wood. Piece of mind.
Both the Coney Island and Atlantic City Boardwalks were damaged severly by Hurricane Sandy, and need to be rebuilt. Why wouldn't these cities contact the company that supplied the lumber the last time they needed rebuilding? That company was Timber Holdings Ltd., and who did they contact for harvesting this timber --- AQCI. Hollund Industrial Marine is taking over where AQCI left off. IMO
