ohm, based on the overall survivability you've been looking at, how would you modify my 2nd column here Number at Risk Nt:
Damned if I know, statistics are obviously not my specialty. The Nt numbers don't match up with the released data. At 12 months we had 12 still alive. At 24 months there were 7. At 36 months there were 6. At 48 months there were 5 and at 52 months there were 4. The timeline up to 36 months may be based on Kaplan-Meier estimates, if so they might be entirely inaccurate. The farther out on the timeline the farther from the real numbers you're going to stray. Any company doing a trial should have access to all or almost all of the death records for patients even those who have dropped out of the study. Why they would use inaccurate estimates rather than actual data is rather puzzling. The only reason to use Kaplan-Meier would be for future predictions based on the last available actual data set you have.
