KC -- check this out: ESMO's other meetings --- now our news makes sense:
ESMO, the European Society for Medical Oncology, permits small, invitation-only, industry-sponsored meetings in conjunction with its annual congress, provided they adhere to specific guidelines. These meetings must be smaller than 35 participants and are not to be promoted within the official Congress venue or on ESMO's platforms. Larger meetings (up to 100 participants) are allowed outside the official congress schedule and are restricted to company staff
