While I enjoyed stats in college (and was good at it at the time), it is not my strong suit these days. I thought mOS was mean overall survival, but it is median overall survival. ChatGPT came up with the same 16 month average (mean) I had calcualted, but using the "worst case" input it calculates mOS (mean) at 6.7 months. I believe our mOS is better than 6.7 months, but impossible to know without knowing the data points of the first 14 patients.
The good news is, we should get this from the ESMO poster.....this also shows the importance to have proper trial protocol because if we only accept patients with an extremely unfavorable prognosis who have failed 3+ treatments a) the mOS data points can be largely skewed for patients grasping for anything at that point and b) the patient population is smaller so less patients to enroll to achieve larger population for more accurate / less skewed results.
