The day traders, hedge funds, and market manipulators will have to buy shares to cover their positions, and then eventually they will be broken or broke, whichever comes first. At the very least they will conclude there is no more money to be made through manipulation and will move on.
On the other hand, if the market manipulators have funding from a third party to bottle up the price for various reasons (such as to keep multiples of a buyout price low, or simply deny funding to a potential competitor, delay trials, etc), the funding entity will cut off the funds once there is a partnership, licensing deal for an indication or indications, or a buyout.
Whatever the reason, good riddance to them. They have made it hard for our company to get funding. Luckily, we have a great management team who have persevered and found other sources of funding. Congratulations on your share purchase. Your purchase will help the company, which will help people to regain their health through the miracle molecule. A truly wonderful thing.
