Role Description: The administration of antibodies blocking viral receptors has the potential to be effective in protecting the host against infection. The proposed studies are aimed at understanding the potential of a half-life extended antibody against the co-receptor of AIDS viruses, CCR5, in prevention of viral acquisition against challenges via different routes.
