[quoteIt's truly impossible for a family or internal medicine doctor to keep fully up to date with all the new research. Most just don't have the bandwidth to work full time and simultaneously fit in a second full time job reading the never-ending new research articles getting published daily.][/quote]
With the vast amount of new research and drug trials coming out there would be no way to keep up. Most probably don't know about leronlimab or maraviroc outside of possibly HIV. I would expect that they have taken some general courses in immunology that go into some depth given its importance to health. Based on that they should be interested when told a general description of how CCR5 blockage by leronlimab affects disease states.
