Regardless of any confusion that may have been caused by President Trump announcing the possible introduction of a $5M "Gold Card" option for Immigrant Investors (without a particular job creation requirement), this will not affect the existing EB-5 Program at $1.05M / $800K per investor with a 10-job creation requirement (including knock on effect in the local area) that $PSRU intends to use for some time.

It is not even known if the "Gold Card" would run in parallel with or instead of the EB-5 Program and there will be a lot of lobbying to retain EB-5 if it is ever suggested it be dispensed with.

One of the top EB-5 Immigration Attorneys has pointed out that:

- The EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 (RIA) includes a crucial grandfathering provision that safeguards EB-5 Regional Center investors before September 30, 2026.

- USCIS must continue processing these petitions and reversing this law would require Congress to pass new legislation.

- He doesn't believe President Trump can stop the EB-5 Program until at least September 2027 when the program needs to be renewed.

- He believes more potential investors will rush to file before September 30, 2026.
